PROGRAMS
Our nonprofit program is designed to break down three critical barriers to mental health treatment: access to trained therapists, transportation, and cost. We employ a tiered approach, starting with offering group therapy sessions in schools and various community settings to ensure accessibility and flexibility. These sessions aim to create a supportive environment where individuals can share experiences and gain valuable coping skills, making a tangible difference in our community's mental health landscape.
In addition to group therapy, we provide individual therapy sessions within schools or other community locations, minimizing the need for additional transportation and ensuring continuity of care. We work exclusively with licensed therapists who are not just trained to work with a diverse range of clients but also offer personalized support based on individual needs, making each person feel seen and valued in their unique journey towards mental well-being.
Beyond therapy, we offer Positive Discipline parenting classes led by certified instructors. These classes focus on learning through experiential methods that help parents understand the beliefs behind their child's behavior instead of a typical reward/punishment system. They aim to equip families with the tools and knowledge to reinforce positive behaviors at home, fostering a nurturing environment. To support school personnel, we conduct classroom training sessions focused on Positive Discipline techniques, helping administrators, teachers, and staff create a more inclusive and supportive educational environment. This holistic approach aims to increase classroom engagement, reduce disciplinary issues, and ultimately improve the overall mental well-being of students and their families, inspiring hope for a brighter future.
